Kevin A. McCabe President and Founder

As a leader, executive and skilled business strategist, Kevin McCabe brings a unique set of experiences to bear on behalf of Quarry Group clients. Kevin's career encompasses a broad spectrum in terms of strategic focus, business life cycle stages, customer segments, operating functions, and geography.

Kevin McCabe founded The Quarry Group in 2004 to leverage his experience on behalf of both institutions and private equity investors. Financial service businesses are the firm's primary focus, including community and regional banking; wealth management and family office practices; card and payment services; consumer lending; and other financial service businesses.

After founding the firm, Kevin spent three years performing consulting engagements before joining an investor group in 2007 to launch Fieldpoint Private Bank & Trust. As CEO Kevin created a boutique private banking, wealth management and family office services firm in Greenwich, CT. Having built Fieldpoint Private to a profitable $300 million bank in less than 2 years, Kevin returned to his consulting practice in early 2010.

Much of Kevin's career was spent at JPMorgan Chase, where he started up and built many businesses. These included a de novo bank in Australia, a retail investment and insurance brokerage unit, a co-brand credit card program and a national auto finance business. Mr. McCabe also has substantial experience with larger enterprises, having led Chase's 400+ NY Metro area branch banking business. While at Chase, Kevin gained merger and acquisition experience in both small cap deals and large scale merger integration projects.

Educational credentials include a B.S. in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.B.A. from New York University and a J.D. in Law from St. John's University.

Kevin seamlessly integrates two critically important perspectives:
1) A senior leader's understanding of business strategy, positioning, value proposition, enterprise capabilities and sources of value creation, and
2) An operating manager's knowledge of how to ensure accountability for effective execution of strategies and tactics.

This enables the Quarry Group to provide its clients with superior situational analysis and assessment, practical problem solving and decision recommendations, and disciplined implementation support.
